Overview
The marketing/Sales Intern assists the GoodJava team with marketing efforts including managing social media and marketing campaigns. The Marketing Intern gains experience in all aspects of marketing and has an opportunity to network within the Software Engineering industry. The Marketing Intern creates graphics, takes photos, and creates visually appealing promotional materials for GoodJava.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media content across platforms, including Facebook, X, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Help develop and maintain marketing campaigns.
- Create visually appealing graphics and promotional material.
- Assist in attending, organizing, and coordinating marketing events, both online and offline.
- Help plan and execute sales campaigns and promotions.
- Take compelling photos that may be used in marketing collateral.
Marginal Responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field required.
- Understanding and practical application of social media platforms and digital marketing trends required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets) required.
- Basic understanding of graphic design tools preferred.
- Adobe Creative Suite or Canva experience preferred.
- Google Analytics experience preferred.
